Matt Casper to Discuss Emotional Intelligence on “My Expert Solution”

Provo, Utah – Matt Casper, licensed psychotherapist and author, will join Kristen Lamb, CEO of MyExpertSolution, LLC, for “My Expert Solution” Dec. 8 at 1 p.m. Mountain Standard Time to discuss the importance of emotions, as well as his series of children’s books, “The Emotes.”
Casper graduated cum laude from Duke University, where he studied personality psychology, comparative religion and film, and received his master's degree in marriage and family therapy from the California Graduate Institute of Professional Psychology and Psychoanalysis. He has worked with many individuals, couples and groups in order to help people to understand and express their emotions and increase what he refers to as “emotional intelligence.” Through “The Emotes” book series, he teaches those same principles to children, helping them learn to identify, understand and express their emotions in a healthy way.
“When people fear their feelings, it leads to denial, repression and shame,” Casper said. “If emotions are denied, this energy can lead to destructive patterns like prejudice, drug abuse, depression, anxiety and low self-esteem.
Casper will join the program from Los Angeles, Calif., where he resides. The show will be broadcast live Dec. 8 and rebroadcast throughout the week on myexpertsolution.com.
